Florence is just 15 kilometers (9 miles) to the north and Siena is 40 kilometers (25 miles) to the south.

IL Castello

Guests can now stay in the newly renovated bedrooms or hold a special event in the estate's elegant Castle. The most beautiful and magical feature of the estate, the Castle boasts enchanting rooms once occupied by the most prestigious Florentine families. The charming bedrooms, each of them with its own bathroom, offers guests the maximum comfort. You can choose a single night stay, or request a special offer for weekly rates. A wonderful Tuscan-style breakfast is included. Rooms are double occupancy.

The Apartments

From the Castello, it's just a short walk downhill along the estate's vineyard-lined road to Podere Casenove. Casenove is the name of Gabbiano's 16th century farmhouse that has been converted into charming guest apartments. Located on the second floor of the farmhouse, each apartment provides beautiful views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside—a patchwork of olive groves, vineyards, forests, and villas.

Terms and conditions 

• When your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail or fax confirming check-in and departure dates of your stay at Castello di Gabbiano.
• A valid credit card is required to guarantee a reservation (the card will be checked for validity, but will not be charged unless the bill exceeds € 1,500.00).
• A deposit (30% of total bill) is required to hold reservations for stays exceeding  € 1,500.00. Deposits may be paid with a bank deposit or Visa or MasterCard.
• Full payment for your stay at Castello di Gabbiano is due upon check-out.

Cancellation policy
Once a reservation is confirmed, a cancellation fee (50% of the bill for the total reserved time) will be charged for cancellations made from 30 to 0 days before planned arrival.

Those who fail to show up or cancel in advance via fax, email, or phone will be charged for 100% of their confirmed reservation. 

* A minimum three day stay is required.
